Hello! My name is name is Christa ,I have been studying hydrocephalous for over two weeks.  My aunt has helped me through this all so it can help and give info to you. My fifth grade project is studying the illness hydrocephalous and connecting it to a kind of health emotional,physical,spiritual,social,and mental 

Facts

1.  this can be delt with in the stomach of a lady that is in  Pregnancy

     2.  water in the brain can couse other organs to stop working

     3.   migraines can be caused by hydrocephalous 

     4.   if a shunt is in your head you can not play rough sports (always wear a helmet)

     5.    only  $1,750 can save a child's life

    

What is it?

   Hydrocephalus, also called Water on the Brain is a it can be very bad for you and your brain. Hydrocephalous can cause you to forget easy and not simple things. The water can build up to make your head very large.this can be healed by a shunt.

      For the last few weeks I have been studying illness called hydrocephalus. What is hydrocephalus  and how can it effect your spiritual and emotional health? My Aunt Lisa had this sickness when she was 16. I decided to interview her to help me with my inquiry project. She gave me many excellent facts , here are a few. First of all she gave me information on emotional health. Emotional health is how people are feeling it can include controlling stress and being happy in different settings. My aunt said that there was so much drama that she focused on only bad things.I also asked her about spiritual health.  She told me that spiritual health means two different things religion and looking forward in life.She told me she new she was not going to die.She looked forward for  the surgeries so she could finally go home.
     Hydrocephalous means water in the brain. The water can get so packed up to damage the brain or even worse it can kill you. Hydrocephalous can happen at any age. It usually happens at younger ages like young childran and babies. There is no cure for this ,but you can get a shunt to deliver the water to different parts of the body. I questioned my aunt to see how long she had had her shunt.She told me almost over 22 years. Normally they only stay for under 15 years. Hydrocephalous connects to emotional and spiritual health, it also means water in the brain.
